Poetry readings

Poetry Pedlars is a group of Launceston poets who meet up on the third Monday of each month, from7.30pm - 9.30pm, at Maggie's Place, next to Pilgrim Uniting Church, 34 Paterson Street Launceston. Poets are given the opportunity to read their work to an appreciative audience, and to enter the monthly competition. On Monday 18th July the competition is to read a poem on the theme "Peace begins with me". All welcome either as poets or as part of the audience. $5 entrance. Tea, coffee, drinks and a light supper available.
